Chinese NBL round 25 best performance: Loren Jackson (by Hoops Agents)

American Point guard Loren Jackson (170-PG-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for Shandong Honey Badger, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, two rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Hubei (#13, 8-15) 90-85. Shandong is placed at 6th position in Chinese NBL. Shandong is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-11 record. In the team's last game Jackson had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Shandong, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Loren Jackson averages this season 20.7ppg and 4.8apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Baylee Steele (213-C-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) of Hubei Wenlv. Steele had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Hubei lost that game 85-90 to the higher-ranked Shandong (#6, 12-11). Hubei is still in a red zone at 13th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-15 record. Steele is one of the most experienced players at Hubei and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#5). He also registered 10.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Noah Dickerson (207-C-1997) of Anhui Wenyi (#11). Dickerson scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Dickerson's great performance the Anhui W. lost 84-88 to the higher-ranked Hunan (#3, 14-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Anhui W. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 13 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Dickerson could help Anhui W. to bring them higher in the standings. Dickerson has a great season in China. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.0rpg (#1 in league).
