Henry Sims claims Chinese NBL Hoops Agents weekly honour

Experienced American Henry Sims (208-C-1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for Jiangsu Yannan Suke and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 35-year old center had a double-double of 40 points and 17 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Zhangjiakou (#14, 0-19) with 16-point margin 113-97. Jiangsu maintains the 8th position in Chinese NBL. Jiangsu is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-9 record. In the team's last game Sims had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Jiangsu, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Henry Sims averages this season 16.5ppg and 8.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Sterling Manley (213-F/C-1998) of Guizhou Menglong. Manley impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Guizhou cruised to a 97-90 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Hunan (#3, 12-7). This victory allowed Guizhou to move up to 11th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-12 record. Manley is one of the most experienced players at Guizhou and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Michael Bryson (193-G-1994) of Jiangxi Ganchi (#5). Bryson showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Bryson's great performance the Jiangxi lost 88-91 to slightly lower-ranked Shandong (#7, 10-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Jiangxi needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 11 victories and 8 lost games. Bryson has a very solid season. In 17 games in China he scored 20.4ppg. He also has 6.4rpg, a FGP of 61.4% and 3PT: 45.3%.
