31-year old American guard Michael Bryson (193-G-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Jiangxi Ganchi and receives a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had the game-high 39 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Jiangxi in his team's victory, helping them to beat Anhui W. (#10, 7-10) 104-97. Jiangxi maintains the 4th position in Chinese NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Jiangxi will need more victories to improve their 11-6 record. In the team's last game Bryson had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Jiangxi, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Michael Bryson averages this season 20.3ppg and 6.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Kyle Vinales (188-SG-1992) of Guizhou Menglong. He is American-Puerto Rican guard in his first season at Guizhou. In the last game Vinales recorded an impressive 40 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course he led Guizhou to another comfortable win outscoring Zhangjiakou (#14, 0-17) 121-77. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Guizhou keeps 12th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-11 record. Vinales is one of the most experienced players at Guizhou and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Noah Dickerson (207-C-1997) of Anhui Wenyi (#10). Dickerson scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Dickerson's great performance the Anhui W. lost 97-104 to the higher-ranked Jiangxi (#4, 11-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Anhui W. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 10 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Dickerson could help Anhui W. to bring them higher in the standings. Dickerson has a great season in China. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.3rpg (#1 in league).
