Jesse Jones (ex Al Khor) joins Anhui Wenyi

Anhui Wenyi (NBL) agreed terms with American point guard Jesse Jones (183cm-84kg, college: Bridgeport). He started the season at Al Khor in Qatari QBL league. In 16 games, he had very impressive stats: 32.1ppg, 5.1rpg, 5.1apg, and 1.7spg. He was also named League Player of the Week.
Jones is a highly experienced player. Throughout his career, he has traveled to four different continents and played in seven different countries. He has gained professional basketball experience in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America. Jones has played for teams in Iraq (Dijlah), Lebanon (Homentmen and Hoops), Mexico (Indomables), ABA (GS Warriors), Libya (Ahly Benghazi), and Canada (Titans and St. John's E.).
Among many awards, his team won the Iraqi League Cup in 2024. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention back in 2023.
Jones attended Bridgeport University until 2016 and is currently in his tenth season as a professional player. He also played for Passaic County Community College for 2 years.
