Chinese NBL round 12 best performance: Ramon Galloway (by Hoops Agents)

American-Iraqi Guard Ramon Galloway (190-G-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for Hunan Changsha, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 34-year old player was the main contributor (40 points, nine rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Hangzhou (#13, 4-8) 110-106. Thanks to this victory Hunan moved-up to the 4th position in Chinese NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Hunan will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. In the team's last game Galloway had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He just recently signed at Hunan and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Former La Salle University star has very solid stats this year. Galloway is in league's top in points (9th best: 40.0ppg) and averages impressive 60.0% FGP and 45.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Tra Holder (185-G-1995) of Jiaozuo Cultural Tourism. Holder had a very good evening with 50 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Jiaozuo cruised to a 101-94 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Shandong (#11, 4-8). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Jiaozuo managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-7 record. Holder is one of the most experienced players at Jiaozuo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.5ppg (#1). He also recorded 6.0 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jordan Howard (180-PG-1996) of Hangzhou Jingwei (#13). Howard got into 30-points club by scoring 40 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and five assists. Despite Howard's great performance the Hangzhou lost 90-96 to Guizhou (4-8). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Hangzhou not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Howard could try to bring Hangzhou's a little bit higher in the standings. Howard has individually a great season in China. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.8ppg (3rd best). He also has a FGP of 54.6% and 3PT: 44.2%.
