Kyle Vinales

Guizhou Menglong (NBL) signed 33-year-old USA-Puerto Rican 188cm shooting guard Kyle Vinales (college: CCSU). He began the season at NKA Pecs in the Hungarian A Division. In 5 games, he averaged an impressive 18.2ppg, 1.4rpg, 5.4apg, and 2.0spg.
During part of last season, he spent time at Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Egyptian Superleague. He also played for another Egyptian team, Al Zamalek Cairo, in the same league.
Vinales, a very experienced player, has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing in thirteen different countries on four continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa, and North America). He has played professionally in Cyprus (AEK Larnaca), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), France (Sluc Nancy), Lithuania (Lietkabelis), Montenegro (Derby), Poland (Legionisci), Puerto Rico (Cariduros, Santeros, Brujos, Cangrejeros, and Mets), Russia (Avtodor), Tunisia, Turkey (Erokspor), Dominican Republic (Leones), and The Basketball Tournament (Money Team, House of 'Paign, and Friday Beers).
He played in the final of the Egyptian League in 2025, among many awards. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention back in 2023.
Vinales graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2015 and is currently in his eleventh season in pro basketball.
