There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in NBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 11 most important game was a victory of Hefei over 5th ranked Shanghai 87-82 on Sunday night. Hefei looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Brandon McCoy (213-1998, college: UNLV, agency: MSG) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds. Greek forward Dimitrios Agravanis (208-1994, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American swingman William Douglas (196-1998, college: PVAMU, agency: BIG) answered with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for Shanghai. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hefei have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Shanghai at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Hebei and Jiangxi. Hefei are looking forward to face Jiangsu (#7) in Yannan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Shanghai will play at home against Anhui W. and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hebei (7-4) against sixth ranked Jiangxi (7-4) on Sunday night. Visiting Hebei was defeated by Jiangxi in Jiangxi 103-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hebei. It was a great evening for American guard Niven Glover (196-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 assists. Michael Bryson helped adding 22 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Corey Lamonte (191-1998) responded with 25 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jiangxi moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hebei and Shanghai. Jiangxi will play against higher ranked Hunan (#3) in Changsha in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hebei will play on the road against the league's leader HK JinNiu in Hong Kong and hopes to get back on the winning track.
NBL top team - HK JinNiu (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Zhangjiakou (0-11) 106-56. It was a quality performance for Jian Dong who led the winners and scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Kenneth Miller came up with 24 points for Zhangjiakou in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated HK JinNiu have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Loser Zhangjiakou still closes the standings with 11 games lost. HK JinNiu will meet at home Hebei (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Zhangjiakou will play against Hubei (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: Anhui W. was beaten by Guizhou on the road 105-98. Jiangsu lost to Shandong on its own court 73-83. Jiaozuo unfortunately lost to Hubei in a road game 93-101.



Guizhou - Anhui W. 105-98

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Guizhou (3-8) beat at home 11th ranked Anhui W. (4-7) 105-98 on Saturday. Guizhou dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Anhui W.'s 40 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Scottie Lindsey (196-1996, college: Northwestern) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Sterling Manley (213-1998, college: UNC) accounted for 19 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Jawun Evans (185-1996, college: OK State) came up with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Yicheng Man (198-1999) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Anhui W. in the defeat. Four Guizhou and five Anhui W. players scored in double figures. Guizhou maintains thirteenth place with 3-8 record. Loser Anhui W. dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Shandong and Jiaozuo. Guizhou will meet at home higher ranked Hangzhou (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Anhui W. will play against Shanghai and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Jiangsu - Shandong 73-83

There was an upset when higher ranked Jiangsu (5-5) lost to twelfth ranked Shandong (4-7) in Yannan 73-83 on Sunday. Shandong outrebounded Jiangsu 44-25 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Hasahn French (201-1998, college: St.Louis) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import center Michael Holyfield (211-1992, college: SHSU) accounted for 9 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Xuanren Chen (195-2007) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for Jiangsu in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shandong moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Anhui W. and Jiaozuo. Loser Jiangsu keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Shandong will meet at home Jiaozuo (#11) in the next round. Jiangsu will play against the league's second-placed Hefei (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Zhangjiakou - HK JinNiu 56-106

NBL top team - HK JinNiu (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Zhangjiakou (0-11) 106-56. HK JinNiu dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zhangjiakou's 30. They outrebounded Zhangjiakou 32-21 including a 27-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. HK JinNiu shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Zhangjiakou's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when HK JinNiu made 7 blocks. It was a quality performance for swingman Jian Dong (196) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (199-1998, college: CS Fullerton) accounted for 9 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Hubei - Jiaozuo 101-93

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Hubei and 8th ranked Jiaozuo had identical 4-6 record. This time Hubei used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Jiaozuo 101-93 on Sunday night. Hubei made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Eric Paschall (198-1996, college: Villanova) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import center Baylee Steele (213-1997, college: Duquesne, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. American-Thailand guard Tra Holder (185-1995, college: Arizona St.) came up with 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Dischon Thomas (206-2000, college: Montana, agency: JCK Sports Group) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Jiaozuo in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jiaozuo's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Hubei (5-6) moved-up to eighth place. Loser Jiaozuo dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Anhui W. and Shandong. Hubei will meet bottom-ranked Zhangjiakou (#14) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Jiaozuo will play against Shandong (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
