Recently, the Chinese Basketball Association officially issued the "Detailed Rules for Anti-Doping Work in All Levels of Leagues", aiming to comprehensively protect the physical and mental health of all participants and maintain the purity, fairness and justice of basketball. The detailed rules cover all participants and related personnel in all leagues hosted by the Chinese Basketball Association, including team leaders, coaches, athletes, managers, scientific researchers and medical staff, as well as other auxiliary personnel, and clearly define the responsibilities of each party. The detailed rules particularly emphasize that background checks on foreign players for doping will be more rigorous, ensuring they have no history of drug or doping violations. At the same time, the regulations clearly state that players who eat out privately, order takeout, or purchase food, nutritional supplements, and weight loss or fat-burning drinks through the internet, although not directly constituting doping violations, still violate the anti-doping regulations of the Chinese Basketball Association. Violators will face a fine of 5,000 yuan (doubled for athletes on the national training team list) and will be criticized throughout the team. The detailed and comprehensive implementation rules issued this time reflect the CBA's resolute stance of "zero tolerance" towards doping and aim to further create a clean, upright and healthy competitive environment for all levels of leagues.
