This is still too early stage of the Regular Season in CBA and we should expect many changes in upcoming rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Loong Lions (2-1) in Guangzhou on Friday night. Hosts were edged by Guandong Tigers (4-0) 97-94. Guangdong ST looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Guangzhou helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Jared Sullinger (206-1992, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. contributed with 17 points and 9 assists for the winners. Canadian guard Lindell Wigginton (185-1998, college: Iowa St.) replied with 25 points and 8 assists for Guangzhou. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Guandong Tigers have a solid four-game winning streak. Guangdong ST keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Beijing D. Guangzhou at the other side dropped to the seventh place with one game lost. They share the position with Shandong H.. Guangdong ST is looking forward to face Qingdao E. (#4) at home in the next round. Guangzhou will play against Jiangsu D. in Nanjing and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Golden Bulls' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Sturgeons (1-3) 88-79. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Damian Jones (210-1995, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and Brandon Randolph who added 20 points during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Travis Trice II (183-1993, college: Michigan St.) responded with 18 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Golden Bulls left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Fujian S. and Shenzhen L. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
CBA top team - Ducks (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Leopards (1-3) in Beijing 104-88. The winners were led by Eugene German who scored that evening 24 points and 5 assists. Even 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Xining He did not help to save the game for Shenzhen L.. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ducks have a solid four-game winning streak. Beijing D. maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Guangdong ST. Loser Leopards dropped to the fifteenth place with three games lost. They share the position with Zhejiang GB. and Fujian S.. Beijing D. will meet Sichuan (#19) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Shenzhen L. will play against Shandong H. (#8) in Jinan and hope to win that game.

Other games in round 4 were not that significant. Shanghai beat Jiangsu D. on the road 101-89. Jilin NE T. won against Xinjiang on its own court 92-86. Ningbo R. unfortunately lost to Liaoning in Yingkou 88-90. Shandong H. managed to beat Beijing at home 98-88. Nanjing crushed Sichuan on the opponent's court 84-53.

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Sharks (2-2) beat bottom-ranked Jiangsu Dragons (0-4) in Nanjing 101-89 on Friday. Shanghai looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American-Qatari Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 assists and Zhelin Wang supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Sharks players scored in double figures. Even 32 points and 4 assists by American center Damian Jones (210-1995, college: Vanderbilt) did not help to save the game for Jiangsu D.. His fellow American import forward Harry Giles III (208-1998, college: Duke) added 18 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Shanghai went down to ninth position due to points difference, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Jiangsu Dragons still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Sichuan and Tianjin P.. Shanghai will meet higher ranked Guangsha L. (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jiangsu D. will play against Guangzhou (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Everything could happen in Yingkou at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Flying Leopards and 9th ranked Rockets had identical 2-1 record. This time Flying Leopards used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Ningbo 90-88 on Saturday night. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Liaoning made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated the game.
