The game between third ranked Hunan (7-5) and seventh ranked Guangxi (4-8) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Hunan was defeated by Guangxi in a tough game in Changsha 86-90. It was a great evening for American Joe Lawson (200-1992, college: Indianapolis) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Javion Hamlet (193-1998, college: N.Texas) helped adding 15 points and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Guangxi's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Guangxi maintains seventh place with 4-8 record. Hunan at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. They share it with Hefei.
The game between Top Four teams took place in . First ranked host HK JinNiu (12-1) defeated second-ranked Hefei (7-5) 89-81. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Michael Ertel II (186-1999, college: UAB) who led the winners and scored 31 points. Scottie James Jr. accounted for 7 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. American Gerry Blakes (193-1993, college: Arizona St.) came up with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Hefei in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. HK JinNiu have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Hefei at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Hunan.
The game between Top Four teams took place in . First ranked host HK JinNiu (12-1) smashed 4th placed Hebei (7-6) 102-78. The best player for the winners was Michael Ertel II who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Trevor Thompson produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for HK JinNiu. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Loser Hebei keeps the fourth position with six games lost.

In the last two games of round 11 Hebei destroyed Hubei on the opponent's court 102-77. Jiangsu YS unfortunately lost to Jiangxi in a home game 72-76.




Hunan - Guangxi 86-90

The game between third ranked Hunan (7-5) and seventh ranked Guangxi (4-8) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Hunan was defeated by Guangxi in a tough game in Changsha 86-90. It was a great evening for American Joe Lawson (200-1992, college: Indianapolis) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. They share it with Hefei.

Very expected game when 8th ranked Hubei (1-11) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Hebei (7-6) 102-77 on Tuesday. Hebei outrebounded Hubei 45-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (199-1998, college: CS Fullerton) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Trevor Thompson (210-1994, college: Ohio St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian center Dejan Bjelic (209-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and guard Xiaoming Wang (190-1995) added 21 points respectively for the hosts.
