Brandon Childress (ex Jonava) joins Jiangxi

Brandon Childress

Jiangxi Ganchi (NBL) agreed terms with 27-year old American point guard Brandon Childress (183cm-86kg-1997, college: Wake Forest). He played last season at Jonavos CBet in Lithuanian LKL league. In 32 games he had very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.5apg and 1.8spg.
Last year, four years after his graduation, he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (G-League) in the first round (18th overall).
He graduated from Wake Forest University in 2020 and it'll be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Childress is a very experienced player. Childress' career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in seven different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. Childress has played previously professionally in Estonia (TalTech and Rapla), Germany (Bayreuth and Hakro Merlins), Greece, Egypt (Al Ahly Cairo), Dominican Republic (Marineros) and NBA Summer League (Sacramento Kings).
He played in the final of the Egyptian League in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention in 2023.
