Sassari welcomes back Thomas, ex Fujian S.

Rashawn Thomas

Dinamo BDS Sassari (Serie A) tabbed 30-year old USA ex-international 203cm forward Rashawn Thomas (college: TAMUCC). It is actually his comeback to Sassari as he has played here before. He started the season at Fujian Sturgeons in Chinese CBA league. In 10 games he averaged 8.1ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.5spg. The last season he played at 89ers (B1 League) in Japanese league. He was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2018.
Thomas is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Thomas has played previously professionally in Japan, Serbia (Partizan), NBA (OKC Thunder), South Korea (Mobis Phoebus) and NBA G League (OKC Blue).
Among many awards his team made it to the Radivoj Korac (Serbian Cup) Semifinals in 2021. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League Honorable Mention in 2023.
Thomas graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2017 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
