Wuhan lands Peyton Williams, ex PEAC-Pecs

Peyton Williams

Wuhan Shengfan (WCBA) tabbed 26-year old USA ex-international 193cm power forward Peyton Williams (college: of Kansas State) for new season. She played most recently at PEAC-Pecs in Hungarian A Division. In 24 games she averaged 9.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg last season. She can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention. Williams also played 10 games in Eurocup where she had 9.8ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.7apg, 1.7spg and 1.6bpg.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at another Hungarian team SERCO UNI Gyor in Hungary.
She also represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) five years ago. Her team won Silver and she had 3 points per game.
Williams is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in France (Hainaut), Russia (Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region) and WNBA (Seattle Storm).
Among many awards she played in the final of Hungarian League in 2023. Williams was selected to Big 12 All-Defensive Team back in 2019.
She graduated from of Kansas State in 2020 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
