Israeli forward Leaf TJ (208-F-1997, college: UCLA) was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 43 points he had in the Chinese league. Leaf graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2017. His team the Nanjing Monkey Kings beat the Ningbo Rockets 126 to 115. On top of that he also recorded 14 rebounds that evening. He is the 10th best scorer in the league averaging 27 points and 14 rebounds per game. As evident, the league is predominantly led by former college players, with 9 out of the 10 scorers having graduated from US schools. Among many awards he was selected to the Asia-Basket All-Chinese C.B.A First Team and All-Imports Team in 2022.
