Liaoning Henye (WCBA) agreed terms with 26-year old USA ex-international point guard Tyasha Harris (178cm-1998, college: S.Carolina) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Connecticut Sun (WNBA). In 44 games just recently she had 10.0ppg, 1.7rpg and 2.7apg.
In 2020 she was drafted by Dallas Wings (WNBA) in first round (7th overall).
She graduated from University of South Carolina and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
Harris was also a member of the USA international program for some years. She played for USA Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2017.
Harris represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) five years ago. Her team won Silver and she had 9 points per game and she was 4th best passer with 3 assists per game.
She has played previously professionally in Russia (Nika) and Turkey (Kayseri and Cankaya).
Among many awards her team made it to the WNBA Semifinals in 2023. Harris was also voted Nancy Lieberman Poing Guard of the Year Award Finalist back in 2020.
