Beijing Royal Fighters (CBA) re-signed 27-year old American 189cm shooting guard Grant Riller (college: Charleston) for new season. He was a team leader there last season. In 44 CBA games he averaged impressive 15.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 2.6apg. He was also voted League Player of the Week.
The previous (2023) summer he played at Boeheim's Army (Syracuse Alumni) in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
In 2020 he was drafted by Charlotte Hornets (NBA) in second round (56th overall). The former College of Charleston star is in his fifth season in pro basketball.
Riller is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in other USA team, NBA (Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Delaware Blue Coats and Greensboro Swarm) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia 76ers).
Among many awards Riller's team made it to the CAA Tournament Semifinals in 2019. Riller was selected to CAA All-Rookie Team back in 2017.
