Damyean Dotson added to the roster of Monkey Kings

Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings (CBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American 196cm swingman Damyean Dotson (college: Houston) for season 2024-25. He is the second foreign player in the roster as Israeli TJ Leaf signed here earlier.
He was second best scorer at Ningbo Rockets. In 33 CBA games in China he recorded very impressive stats: 19.5ppg, 6.4rpg, 3.7apg and 1.2spg last season.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Gaziantep Basketbol (BSL) in Turkish league. He also played 28 games in Turkish BSL where he averaged 14.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 3.0apg in that year. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
In 2017 he was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (44th overall). Dotson graduated from University of Houston and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
He was a member of USA Under 19 National Team back in 2013.
Dotson has played also professionally in Turkey, NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, NY Knicks and San Antonio Spurs) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Westchester Knicks).
He won NBA G League Atlantic Division championship title in 2018. Dotson played also for University of Oregon for 2 years.
