Defending champion Liaoning Flying Leopards (CBA) have agreed terms with 22-year-old American guard Sharife Cooper (185cm-82kg-2001, college: Auburn). He recently played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, as well as for the Charge in the U.S. NBA-G-League. In 45 games, he had impressive stats: 18.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 7.2apg, and 1.6spg this season.
Three years ago, he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in the second round (48th overall). He attended Auburn University until 2021, and it is his third season in pro basketball.
He has played professionally in the NBA G League with the College Park SkyHawks.
His team reached the GHSA Georgia AAAAAAA Championship Semifinals in 2020. He was selected for the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2021 during his college career.
