Rasta Vechta (BBL) signed 24-year old American power forward Tanner Groves (208cm-109kg-1999, college: Oklahoma). Groves started the season at Xinjiang Flying Tigers in Chinese CBA league. In 5 games he had 6.8ppg and 3.2rpg.
He has played also professionally in Poland (Anwil).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Big 12 Tournament Semifinals in 2022. Groves was voted to All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from University of Oklahoma in 2023 and it is his first season as a professional player. Groves played also for Eastern Washington University for 3 years.
