NBL Round 19 of Regular Season

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in NBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 19 most important game was a victory of Guangxi over 3rd placed Liaoning Y. 103-97 on Wednesday night. Guangxi (13-7) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Liaoning Y. dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Hunan. Guangxi are looking forward to face Jiangsu YS (#9) in Yannan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Liaoning Y. will play on the road against Henan (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
NBL top team - Anhui W. (15-5) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Hefei (8-12) 125-113. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Anhui W.. They maintain first place with 15-5 record. Hefei at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Jiangsu YS and HK JinNiu. Anhui W. will play against Jiangxi (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hefei will play against Wuhan (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Henan between Hebei and Henan. Sixth ranked Hebei (9-11) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked Henan (7-13). Hebei managed to escape with a 3-point win 126-123 on Wednesday evening. Hebei maintains sixth place with 9-11 record. Newly promoted Henan keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Wuhan and Jiangxi. Hebei will meet at home league's second-placed Shaanxi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Henan will play against Liaoning Y. (#5) and hope to secure a win.

Other games in round 19 were not that significant. Hunan beat Wuhan on the road 117-111. HK JinNiu destroyed Jiangsu YS on its own court 128-95. Jiangxi unfortunately lost to Shaanxi in Xian 90-106.

Henan - Hebei 123-126

A very close game took place in Henan between Hebei and Henan. Sixth ranked Hebei (9-11) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked Henan (7-13). Hefei - Anhui W. 113-125

NBL top team - Anhui W. (15-5) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Hefei (8-12) 125-113. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Anhui W.. Wuhan - Hunan 111-117

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Hunan (12-8) beat on the road bottom-ranked Wuhan (7-13) 117-111 on Tuesday. Hunan moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Liaoning Y. Wuhan lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. They share it with Henan and Jiangxi. Hunan will meet HK JinNiu (#7) in the next round. Wuhan will play against Hefei (#8) and hope to secure a win.

HK JinNiu - Jiangsu YS 128-95

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Jiangsu YS (8-12) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked HK JinNiu (8-12) 128-95 on Wednesday. HK JinNiu moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Jiangsu YS and Hefei. HK JinNiu will meet at home higher ranked Hunan (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jiangsu YS will play against Guangxi and hope to secure a win.

Shaanxi - Jiangxi 106-90

Very predictable result when second ranked Shaanxi (14-6) won against 11th ranked Jiangxi (7-13) in Xian 106-90 on Wednesday. Shaanxi maintains second place with 14-6 record behind leader Anhui W. Jiangxi lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Henan and Wuhan. Shaanxi will meet Hebei (#6) on the road in the next round. Jiangxi will play against the league's leader Anhui W. (#1) and hope to secure a win.
