Xinjiang Flying Tigers (CBA) added to their roster experienced 34-year old American power forward Ed Davis (206cm-98kg-1989, college: UNC, agency: MSG) for season 2023-24. Davis played this summer at Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rican BSN league, but left the team in April. In 6 games just recently he recorded 13.8ppg, 16.3rpg, 1.0apg and 1.7bpg. The last season he was tested by the Cavaliers in NBA.
In 2010 he was drafted by Toronto Raptors (NBA) in first round (13th overall). He graduated from University of North Carolina and it will be his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Davis has played also professionally in other USA teams, NBA (Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, LA Lakers and Brooklyn Nets) and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks).
He won NBA Northwest Division championship title in 2018.
