NBL Round 10: Shaanxi beat Hebei by two after a very close game

Eighth-ranked Hebei (4-6) was very close to win a game against second ranked Shaanxi (8-2) in Xian on Wednesday. Shaanxi managed to secure only two-point victory 91-89. However their fans expected much easier game. Shaanxi keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Liaoning Y. Hebei at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Shaanxi is looking forward to face league's leader Liaoning Y. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hebei will play against Anhui W. (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Jiangsu YS (6-4) against eleventh ranked Guangxi (4-6) on Wednesday night. Host Jiangsu YS was crushed by Guangxi in Yannan 128-83. Guangxi moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Jiangsu YS at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Anhui W.. Guangxi will play against higher ranked Hunan (#3) in Changsha in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jiangsu YS will play on the road against Henan and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Newly promoted Liaoning Y. maintains first position with 8-2 record, which they share with Shaanxi. Henan lost third consecutive game. Henan at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost. Liaoning Y. will meet at home Anhui W. (#5) in the next round. Henan will play against Jiangsu YS (#4) and hope to secure a win.
