Daryl Macon (ex UNICS) joins Leopards

Shenzhen Leopards (CBA) agreed terms with 27-year old American guard Daryl Macon (190cm-84kg-1995, college: Arkansas) for new 2023-24 season. Macon played last season at UNICS Kazan in Russian VTB United League. In 38 games he had very impressive stats: 15.2ppg, 2.1rpg, 3.7apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to win the VTB United League championship despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Quite impressive year as he was named to VTB United League All-Star Game and League Player of the Week (3 times).
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Panathinaikos in Greek GBL where in 31 games he recorded 11.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.7apg in that year. Macon contributed to his team winning the Supercup and make to league final. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention. He also played 31 games in Euroleague where he averaged 13.1ppg, 2.2rpg and 3.6apg in that year.
Macon is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Turkey (Galatasaray), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Miami Maconat), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce), Greece (AEK Athens) and NBA Summer League (Dallas Mavericks).
He graduated from University of Arkansas in 2018 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player. Macon played also for Holmes Community College for 2 years.
