It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Guangxi. Shaanxi have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-1 record. Guangxi at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Shaanxi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Guangxi will play on the road against the league's second-placed Anhui W. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Wuhan will play against Guangxi and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 16 Hebei was smashed by Jiangsu YS on the road 101-77. Foshan won against Putian on its own court 81-69.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Jiangsu YS's (5-8) home victory over 8th ranked Hebei (3-12) in Yannan 101-77 on Monday. Jiangsu YS maintains seventh position with 5-8 record. Loser Hebei keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost.
