Arnett Moultrie claims Chinese CBA weekly honour

Experienced American Arnett Moultrie (208-C-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Xinjiang FT and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 31-year old center had a double-double of 41 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Qingdao E. (#15, 7-15) with 19-point margin 119-100. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Xinjiang FT maintains the 13th position in Chinese CBA. Xinjiang FT is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-14 record. Moultrie turned to be Xinjiang FT's top player in his first season with the team. Arnett Moultrie averages this season 29.0ppg and 14.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old former international center Hao Fu (208-C-97) of league's best team Liaoning FL. Fu impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 38 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Liaoning FL cruised to a 102-90 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Guangdong ST (#5, 16-6). Of course Liaoning FL still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 20-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Fu is a newcomer at Liaoning FL and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Trae Golden (189-PG-91, agency: Network Sports International) of Fujian S. (#17). Golden got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for eleven assists. Despite Golden's great performance Fujian S. lost 111-125 to the higher-ranked Guangsha L. (#3, 18-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Fujian S. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 5-17 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Golden has a very solid season. In 9 games in China he scored 40.3ppg. He also has 5.9rpg, 10.4apg and FGP: 54.8%.
