Summary of the Case:

The American Player, Wayne Selden (196-SG-94, college: Kansas), filed a claim against the Chinese Club, Shandong Xiwang Basketball Club, for outstanding salaries, penalties and agent fees. The Claimant submitted that the Respondent breached the Contract by failing to honour any of its terms as the Respondent had no intention of performing the Contract from the moment it was signed. In its Answer, the Respondent argued that BAT did not have jurisdiction over the claim because the Appendix bearing the arbitration clause was not executed by the Respondent. The claim was dismissed.
