NBL Round 10: Change at the top of the standings

There were just 10 rounds played in Regular Season of CBL and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

CBL round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Fifth defeat of league's leader Beijing (0-5) against top-ranked Guangxi (5-0) 120-59 was the most important game of the last round. Undefeated Guangxi have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Anhui W. Beijing at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Luoyang. They were replaced at the leadership position by Jiangsu YS. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Leading Xinjiang (1-4) recorded its fourth loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Chongqing (2-3) 102-94. Chongqing moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Xinjiang at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Chongqing will play against higher ranked Luoyang (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Xinjiang will have a break next round.
The game in Fuzhou supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Wuhan (4-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Anhui P. (2-3). Wuhan smashed Anhui P. 138-71 on Tuesday. Wuhan moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hunan. Anhui P. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 10 Henan was smashed by Foshan on the road 112-90.



Xinjiang - Chongqing 94-102

Leading Xinjiang (1-4) recorded its fourth loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Chongqing (2-3) 102-94. Chongqing moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Xinjiang at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Chongqing will play against higher ranked Luoyang (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Xinjiang will have a break next round.

Foshan - Henan 112-90

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Foshan and 8th ranked Henan had identical 2-2 record. This time Foshan used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Henan 112-90 on Tuesday night. Foshan have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Henan dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
