Shanxi Loongs (CBA) agreed terms with 28-year old American swingman Ricky Ledo (201-88kg-92, college: Providence). He played last summer at Team Hines (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Ledo managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. The last season he played at Anwil in Polish EBL where in 21 games he had very impressive stats: 16.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.5apg and 2.0spg (in top 4). Ledo helped them to win the Supercup. 2019-2020 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League 1st Team, All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (2 times). Ledo also played 14 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded also remarkable stats: 16.7ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.7apg and 1.4spg. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week.
In 2013 Ledo was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). He attended Providence College and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Ledo has played in seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Reggio Emilia), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros and Santeros), Spain (Baskonia), Turkey (Anadolu Efes and Yesilgiresun Bld), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Stockton Kings and Wisconsin Herd) and China (Royal Fighters).
Ledo won D-League West Division championship title in 2016.
