Tianjin Pioneers (CBA) landed 28-year old American swingman D'Montre Edwards (199-92kg-92, college: Tennessee). He played most recently at Jafep Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda in Spanish LEB Silver. In 14 games he averaged 4.6ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg in 2018-19 season.
Edwards has played previously professionally in United Kingdom (Rockets) and PBL (Carolina Pee Dee).
Among many awards Edwards played in the final of British NBL Division One in 2016. He received also Eurobasket.com All-British NBL Division One 1st Team award back in 2016.
He attended University of Tennessee until 2014 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
