Royal Fighters ink Joseph Young

Beijing Royal Fighters (CBA) agreed terms with 28-year old American guard Joseph Young (188-84kg-92, college: Oregon). He is the second import player in the roster as Tunisian Salah Mejri signed here earlier.
Young played last season at Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings. In 44 CBA games in China he was the best scorer with impressive 38.3ppg and averaged 4.7rpg, 6.4apg and 2.3spg. He was also named League Player of the Week (5 times).
In 2015 Young was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). He attended University of Oregon and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Young has played previously professionally in NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants) and NBA Summer League (LA Lakers).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Young played in the final of Pac-12 Tournament in 2015. He was selected to Chinese CBA All-Star Game in 2019.
