Dezmine Wells signs at Jiangsu Dragons- September 21, 2020
The most of last season he spent at Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (Chinese CBA) where in 11 games he averaged impressive 31.1ppg, 7.6rpg, 5.0apg and 3.2spg. He was also selected League Player of the Week. Wells also played for SM Beermen (Filipino PBA) in Filipino league. In 8 games he had very remarkable stats: 37.1ppg, 7.9rpg, 4.8apg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg. He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. Wells is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Wells has played previously professionally in Greece (Doxa Lefkadas), Italy (Pesaro and Avellino), NBA (OKC Thunder) and NBA G League (OKC Blue). Among many awards Wells' team made it to the FIBA Europe Cup final in 2018. He received also All-Big Ten 1st Team award back in 2015 at his college time. He attended University of Maryland until 2015 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
