Golden Stars sign Isaiah Canaan

Shandong Golden Stars (CBA) signed 28-year old American point guard Isaiah Canaan (183-85kg-91, college: Murray State). He played last season at Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. But in four games he had just 1.5ppg and 1.0rpg. Canaan also played for the Timberwolves in NBA where in 7 games he recorded 4.7ppg and 2.7apg. Canaan helped them to win the Central Division title. The other team he played that season for were the Suns in NBA. In 19 games he averaged 7.5ppg, 2.6rpg and 3.3apg.
In 2013 Canaan was drafted by Houston Rockets (NBA) in second round (34th overall). He attended Murray State and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Canaan was selected to D-League All-Star Game back in 2014.
He has played previously professionally in NBA (Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers and OKC Thunder) and NBA G League (NAZ Suns and Rio Grande Valley Vipers).
