Marbury Stephon (188-G-77, college: Georgia Tech) had 41 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists as Beijing edged Guangdong 124-121 to win the CBA championship. Playing at home, it won the series 4 games to 1.

Zhai Xiaochuan (205-F-93), China's next projected NBA draft first-rounder, had 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Zhu YanXi (209-C-90), Beijing's other top rookie, had 16 points and 7 rebounds. Lee Hsueh-Lin, the small Taiwanese star who is the glue that holds the team together, had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Randolph Morris had 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Ji Zhe had 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Aaron Brooks had 33 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists for defending champion Guangdong. James Singleton had 29 points and 9 rebounds. Zhou Peng had 22 points and 6 rebounds. Dong Hanlin had 14 points and 10 rebounds. 206 cm Li Yuanyu had 8 points and 7 rebounds in 10 minutes but picked up 5 fouls. Zhu Fangyu had 6 points and 3 rebounds before fouling out in 33 minutes. South All Stars-North All Stars 112-122

North All Stars overcame South All Stars in a show between two sides. Trailing 14 points at the halftime, the team from the North did not panic and responded with a strong second half to win the game 122-112.
South posted 36 points in the first period and led 36:26 after the first 10 minutes. Moreover they added 26-22 in the second frame and led 14 points at the halftime. The North Stars meanwhile bounced back with 39-30 in the third quarter and got the victory due to 35-20 in the last stanza.
Li Gun (179-G-78) top-scored with 31 points and got MVP award. Hudson Lester (191-G-84, college: Tenn-Martin) notched 25, while Gaines Charles (201-F-81, college: S.Mississippi) scored 24. Zhang Nan (197-F-81) followed them with 19 points in a winning effort. McDonald Will (211-C-79, college: S.Florida) replied with 25 points in the losing case. Wang netted 17 and Tailong delivered 15.
