Regular Season Round 6: Saitama - Tachikawa 84-99

Very expected game in Saitama where 12th rankedBroncos (5-7) were defeated by fourth ranked Tachikawa (6-4) 99-84 on Saturday. Tachikawa made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Tachikawa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Slash Sports) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds and the former international guard Keijuro Matsui (188-1985, college: Columbia) scored 26 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Tachikawa went down to sixth position due to points difference, which they share with Tokyo Z. Loser Broncos dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost.
