Not a big story in a game when 5th rankedBallooners (4-4) lost on the road to first ranked Alvark Tokyo (7-1) 79-74 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Alvark Tokyo looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Spanish Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Ryan Rossiter (206-1989, college: Siena) supported him with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Alvark Tokyo's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Even a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds by American Yoeli Childs (203-1998, college: BYU) did not help to save the game for Saga B. . His fellow American import Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) added 19 points for the guests. Alvark Tokyo maintains first position with 7-1 record, which they share with Chiba Jets and Shimane SM. Saga B. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams.
