Rather predictable result when sixth rankedB-Corsairs (4-4) won against 8th ranked Lakestars (1-7) in Yokohama 77-71 on Saturday. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (210-1996, college: S.Carolina) who scored that evening 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and French power forward Damien Inglis (206-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four B-Corsairs players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 7 rebounds by Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Shiga L-Stars . Panamanian-American center Javier Carter (203-1991, college: USA, agency: Slash Sports) added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Yokohama BC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Shiga L-Stars lost third consecutive game.
