Regular Season Round 4: Gifu - Tachikawa 65-78

Everything went according to plan when third rankedTachikawa (5-3) defeated 15th ranked Swoops (2-4) in Gifu 78-65 on Saturday. Tachikawa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Swoops 's 30. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Even 9 points and 23 rebounds by power forward Zena Edosomwan (206-1993, college: Harvard, agency: Diamond Sports) did not help to save the game for Gifu . Forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) added 21 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Tachikawa went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Tokushima Gam. Gifu lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with four games lost.
