Very predictable result when first rankedBig Bulls (7-1) rolled over 16th ranked Veertien Mie (1-5) in Iwate 91-55 on Saturday. Iwate dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Veertien Mie 's 34. Iwate forced 22 Veertien Mie turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Clay Mounce (199-1998, college: Furman) who scored that evening 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and American-Tunisian forward Efe Odigie (206-1989, college: SMU, agency: Diamond Sports) supported him with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Damonte Dodd (211-1994, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for Veertien Mie . New Zealand center Callum McRae (216-1999, college: Sacramento St.) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Iwate maintains first position with 7-1 record. Veertien Mie lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with five games lost.
