The game in Anjo supposed to be also quite interesting. Fujitsu RW played at the court of Aishin AW. Fujitsu RW smashed Aishin AW 83-55 on Saturday. Fujitsu RW dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Aishin AW's 32. They outrebounded Aishin AW 48-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. Fujitsu RW looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Aishin AW's players. Nigerian center Mfon Joshua (190-1999) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Saki Hayashi (173-1995) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-1991) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Sakura Noguchi (181-2001) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fujitsu RW will meet at home Toyota A. in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aishin AW will play against Toyota BSR and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
