Very expected game when 11th rankedPolice (4-17) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Tong Whye (11-10) 79-65 on Wednesday. Tong Whye dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Police 's 24. Tong Whye forced 19 Police turnovers and outrebounded them 55-35 including 21 on the offensive glass. The former international forward Lavin Raj V (201-2000) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Yeong-Wooi Khaw (200-1990) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Emgeeyar Gopal responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Bayot Ferrera scored 14 points and 4 assists. Four Police players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tong Whye maintains sixth position with 11-10 record. Newly promoted Police dropped to the tenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Tungsan.
