Regular Season Round 16: Adroit - Police 91-61

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Police (2-13) was outscored by second ranked Adroit (14-1) in Singapore 91-61 on Sunday. Adroit looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Larry-Hua Liew (191-1993) who scored that evening 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international Leon Kwek (190-1996) supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Five Adroit players scored in double figures. Even 19 points by Wei Jun Chua did not help to save the game for Police. Bayot Ferrera added 15 points and 5 assists for lost side. Adroit have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-1 record behind leader Hornets. Police lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Tungsan. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
