Regular Season Round 14: CT Tiger - SWU 96-46

Date: July 24, 2024
No shocking result in a game when third ranked CT Tiger (10-4) crushed bottom-ranked SWU (0-14) in Bangkok 96-46 on Wednesday. CT Tiger dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to SWU's 28. CT Tiger forced 29 SWU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by SWU's players. Forward Mohammed Diaby (196) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international guard Takamin Sirijariyaporn (181-1997) supported him with 16 points, 6 assists and 8 steals. Even 4 points and 12 rebounds by Thirawat Khamma did not help to save the game for SWU. Polpol Pabpayon added 11 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CT Tiger maintains third position with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Hitech. Loser SWU still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
