Everything went according to plan when second rankedPelita Jaya (16-2) won against on the road 12th ranked Tangerang (5-12) 72-68 on Saturday. Pelita Jaya outrebounded Tangerang 55-42 including 21 on the offensive glass. American-Filipino forward Justin Brownlee (197-1988, college: St.John's) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and the former international guard Andakara Dhyaksa (173-1992) chipped in 20 points. Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American guard Steven Green (196-1993, college: OKBU) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and British center Morakinyo Williams (209-1988, college: Citadel) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Pelita Jaya maintains second place with 16-2 record having just three points less than leader Dewa United. Tangerang lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost.
