Regular Season Round 23: Borneo - Dewa United 93-101

Not a big story in a game in Pontianak where 10th ranked Borneo (6-12) was defeated by second ranked Dewa United (15-1) 101-93 on Friday. Dewa United outrebounded Borneo 49-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Dewa United looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jordan Adams (194-1994, college: UCLA) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Dominican point guard Gelvis Solano (185-1994, college: Merrimack, agency: BMS Sport Agency) helped adding 14 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Dewa United players scored in double figures. Dewa United's coach Santiago Rimoldi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Steve Taylor Jr (206-1993, college: Toledo) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Michael Qualls (197-1994, college: Arkansas) scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Dewa United keeps a position of league leader. Borneo at the other side keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
