Regular Season Round 20: Pacific Caesar - Hangtuah 76-78

Fourteenth-ranked Pacific Caesar (1-12) used its home court advantage to challenge ninth ranked Hangtuah (6-7) in Surabaya on Sunday. The visitors from Jakarta managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Hangtuah looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Zoran Talley (198-1994, college: Iowa St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Ronald Delph (213-1993, college: FAU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. Talley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Point guard Jaylyn Richardson (189-1998, college: WOU) replied with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Keljin Blevins (198-1995, college: Montana St.) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Pacific Caesar. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hangtuah maintains ninth position with 6-7 record. Pacific Caesar lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost.
