Rather expected game when 5th rankedGhostHawks (7-20) were defeated by third ranked Aquas (15-12) 86-78 on Sunday. Kaohsiung A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Shannon Scott (191-1992, college: Ohio St., agency: Slash Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Aquas players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Egidijus Mockevicius (208-1992, college: Evansville) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and Croatian Domagoj Vukovic (208-1993) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Kaohsiung A. . Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kaohsiung A. maintains third position with 15-12 record having just three points less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Tainan lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 20 games lost.
