Fifth-rankedGhostHawks (7-20) gave a tough game to second ranked N.Taipei CTBC (18-9) in Tainan on Saturday. N.Taipei CTBC managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88 . However their fans expected easier game. N.Taipei CTBC dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to GhostHawks 's 26. N.Taipei CTBC forced 27 Tainan turnovers. Strangely Tainan outrebounded N.Taipei CTBC 48-27 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. N.Taipei CTBC looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and American guard Cody Demps (193-1993, college: Sacramento St.) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Lithuanian center Egidijus Mockevicius (208-1992, college: Evansville) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds and Croatian Domagoj Vukovic (208-1993) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tainan players scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. N.Taipei CTBC have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Tainan lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 20 games lost.
