Regular Season Round 9: Chunghua T. - Taipower 56-51

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Chunghwa Telecom and 4th placed Taipower had identical 5-21 record. This time Chunghwa Telecom won against the opponent 56-51 on Sunday night. The former international swingman Yushu Lin (168-1996) nailed 12 points for the winning side and the former international guard Hui-Ju Liu (163-1996) accounted for 11 points and 5 rebounds. Wei-Lin Wanga came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and Wei-Qing Liao added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Taipower in the defeat. Chunghua T. maintains third place with 6-21 record having seventeen points less than leader Taiyuan T. Taipower lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Chunghua T. will again meet bottom-ranked Taipower (#4) in the next round. Taipower will play against the league's second-placed Cathay Life and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
