The game had a very big importance for fourth-rankedKings as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Pilots) loss. Kings smashed second-ranked Dreamers in Changhua 116-94 . Kings outrebounded Dreamers 55-41 including 20 on the offensive glass. Kings players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by guard Joseph Lin (186-1992, college: Hamilton) who scored that evening 22 points and 6 assists and American Austin Daye (209-1988, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by the former international point guard Chun-Chi Lin (175-1998) did not help to save the game for Dreamers . American forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Kings . Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Dreamers lost third consecutive game. They still keep top place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Pilots.
