Regular Season Round 8: Taiwan Beer - Changhua 85-80

Rather expected game when 4th rankedChanghua (7-17) was defeated by first ranked Taiwan Beer (16-8) 85-80 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Zong-Lin Lu (175-1994) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. Lu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Center Erdenetsetseg Sugar-Ochir (200-1999) produced 27 points and 7 rebounds and American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) added 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for Taiwan Beer . Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Changhua's coach Chun-Hsiung Wu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Taiwan Beer maintains first position with 16-8 record. Loser Changhua stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost.
